All About Gogos Crazy Bones Series 4
The little collectible figures you may have seen kids playing games with in the playground lately are called Gogos Crazy Bones. There are now four series of the small, brightly colored characters, each containing nearly 100 unique figures. Children can buy Gogos in packets of two or three characters but until the packs are opened they do not know which figures they will be getting. Each series contains a number of rare figures making collecting and trading more interesting.
The latest range is Gogos Crazy Bones series 4, called Power. Previous ranges have been called original, Evolution and Explorer, and they differ in their finish; some are transparent, others are metallic. As well as collecting the bones, children can play a number of games with them, such as bowling (a bit like 10 pin bowling), battling (a game of flicking pieces to knock your opponent’s over) and basket (where players try to bounce their bones into a box or basket). The idea that sparked the creation of this new game was the Ancient Greek game of Tabas. This involved children playing marble type games with animal bones.
For kids that are new to this craze, you are best off buying them a Power series Starter Pack. This will set them up with two packs of Gogos, an album to store the trading cards that come with the pack and a game guide so they know what on earth they are supposed to do with the figures. More experienced players can top up their collection using their pocket money to buy single packs or you can save money and buy a 10 pack set for a treat or a birthday.
To give them more information on all of the characters, there is a Power Series Official Handbook. This 96 page book will encourage them to practise their reading as there are lots of facts, stories and activities to try. They can find out which of their collection are rare bones and which ones they would like to swap with their friends.
You are now up to speed on the latest Crazy Bones figures so go out and treat your little ones to these inexpensive but fun new Gogos toys today.
